2008 Concert Season

Artistic Director &
Principal Conductor:
Robert Chasey

Leader: Helen Brackley Jones

open quote Dear Friends,

Welcome to our fabulous range of music for 2008. I am so proud to be a part of a group that can even dream of putting together a season of such variety and quality. Our four star soloists each bring pieces that will remain in your memory for a long time.

Ivor Hodgson's new piece, written especially for us, will be a thrilling journey. Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony will be as exciting and moving as ever, and Walton's Spitfire, Prelude and Fugue will knock you for six! I do think it is a season any orchestra would be proud of.

Come and share this wonderful music with us! close quote
